01:21 pm - Why my life is good today 1. I didn't have to get up until 10:30. Mmmmm sleeping in... 2. My only class today was choir, and she let us out ten minutes early. 3. I have some lovely iced tea with honey and a crazy straw. 4. I had a really comforting email in my box from my love where she reinstated how understanding and wonderful she is. 5. Today is Tuesday! So I have nothing else alllll day, and my love doesn't have to go rushing off to bed very early either. And this one is the most important 6. I found out I can get the sandwich people to make me my sandwich ON A CROISSANT. Oh deliciousness. 02:35 pm - Doopa So I have been sooo productive all week, and I'm sure you'd like to hear about it. When I got back to school on Monday night, I made sure to run down to the Cooler and I snagged two shifts, neither of which are closing, so now I work eight hours a week instead of three and not at two in the morning. Yaaay. Then I went to my classes and whatnot even though some of them were hard to find... On Wednesday I made sure to take my check to Student Accounts. Then on Thursday I had my first tap and jazz class, which was pretty awesome. After choir, I registered for my Piano Class and went to it, and afterwards I practiced what she'd taught us so far, and also practiced for my Hair auditions, which were Thursday evening, both the dancing and singing portions. Then on Friday I was all sore from my dance class, so that's a good sign. Maybe I will get into better shape and become strong! But also, I got a singing callback for Hair for the role of Jeanie, so I learned the songs that afternoon and went to the callback that evening and totally rocked it. So Saturday morning I got up early to see if I'd gotten an acting callback and I had, so I went to that and was there for like three hours. Blargh. And then I worked for four hours and made like thirty-five dollars or something and even got to take a ten minute break, which was exciting for me, 'cause I usually only work three hours and don't get a break. And then I came home and watched some L Word. =D So... all in all, a very productive week. I have more work today, and I just have to wait until like noon tomorrow for the cast list for Hair. I don't think I'll get a part 'cause I'm a frosh and everything, but I REALLY hope I get in at least... It's been too long since I've done a show, and I want to really bad. Lalala. Also, we're almost caught up now with The L Word. We only have like three episodes left of the fifth season... Though I'm sure the Cannon has surpassed us by now which makes me feel really angry. Also, I really need to buy seasons 3, 4, and 5 on DVD.... a lot. So... Does anyone have any ideas for where would be the least expensive place to do that? Yeyeahyeah-heh PS: After I worked for four hours today, I signed up for yet another shift for tomorrow afternoon! I'M A CRAZY PERSON AAAAAH. 04:55 pm - I'm at the airport Lalala. I guess I was wrong about the layover being only like ten minutes, hah... My flight isn't until 5:40. Oh well. I'm not hungry at all though. Kind of thirsty.... I don't really want to spend any money on a drink. Don't they usually give you free ones on the plane? I'll hold out for that, I think. I feel generally sad. And also nervous. But maybe... hopeful, too. That I will be better, life will be better this semester. And we did three months. We lived through all that. It won't be that long this time. I just need to get enough shifts/a better job. Yeej. In other news, I saw this guy from my classes... in high school. I had all my stuff with him, math, Lit, history, etc. So that was weird. He was at the airport, we were both coming to Portland (where I am now) 'cause there are no direct flights to either place we were going. This poor random lady is singing over there. To like some kind of sad karaoke background music, and no one cares. She just did My Funny Valentine. Good stuff. Almost. Maybe the plane is boarding in like ten minutes or something though... 07:41 am - Doo doo doo doo doo doo Hi everyone! Happy Christmas!! Yaaaay!!!!! Christmas is happytimes for everyone... I hope... And Disneyland is beautiful. And Christmas is beautiful. And Disneyland at Christmas is EXTRA beautiful. So... despite horrible rich things, I'm thinkin' life is pretty good. I miss my love, but so very very soon I will be home for longtimes and have all the crazy adventures with everyone! That's good. Rich won't even be there. 02:05 pm - Rice pudding I am sitting here in the Marketplace between my classes... I should go to Russian in like twenty minutes. Today I am doing everything I set out to do. I went and turned in my Thank You letter for my scholarship thing, I asked them for help finding a job where I can actually get work study and they gave me the email address of the lady who would help me, I went to classes and in my CSP she actually handed back our papers (the last TWO, and we were supposed to have another one due Wednesday...) and I got A's on both of them. Yaaaaaay! Yay A's! Also, she pushed back our due date for the essay due Wednesday to be due Friday instead, but I have to ignore that. I really, really need to pretend like it's still due Wednesday, 'cause I have that 7-8 page paper due Friday, and I really need to... time... manage. BLAH. In Psych however, they said that they were handing back the Rose Garden papers but mine wasn't there, so I'm a little concerned... I'll probably shoot the professor an email and confirm that she has it...Hmmm Okay. Well... I wish there weren't creepy people role-playing with my name... 'cause that makes me feel weird. 12:40 pm - Crazy German Advisor Guy I had my meeting with my advisor guy today so I can start being all schedule-y for next semester (registration is next week blah), and he just was like talking to me for a good 35-45 minutes, and it was weird. He kept trying to get me to sign up for history classes and Geology and I was like noooo, I'ma only take USELESS THINGS!!! Ok, that's an exaggeration, but I only wanna take great things anyway. I'm thinking Russian 102, my CSP (which will be Mixed Heritage in American Literature and Film, The Russian Experience, or Music and Migration, hopefully...), Intro to Performance, Glee Club, Beginning Jazz and Tap, and maybe this History of American Cinema class or something similar. Also, I think, this Piano Class, because that would probably be a good investment. I need to learn instruments. So I think that if I got into all those things my life would be pretty great and I would be happy and fulfilled and learning so many wonderful things... Mmm. But anyway I was talking about my CURRENT CSP to my advisor guy and I mentioned how we were supposed to go see Spring Awakening and he was like, "Oh, that's a German play!" 'cause he's German, so he was just talking and talking about Spring Awakening with me... So thaaaat was kind of weird but also cool, and he was all blah blah blah girl 14 guy 16 she gets pregnant blah blah abortion blah dies blah--oh no!! I shouldn't have told you that!!! And I was like haha, it's okay. Angelica, by the way, I am toootally with you on the human contact thing... I mean the only thing I ever have with that is less than you, kind of... 'Cause it's just like when people awkwardly put an arm around me or give me an unexpected hug and I'm like ACK NO I DON'T HARDLY KNOW YOU! So that's weird. And also Margaret keeps coming into my room and hugging and kissing me goodnight. And I'm like um. Yeah. G'night. This laffy taffy is pretty terrible today.... Not like it isn't delicious, it is. But like "How did the bones cross the street?" But it's a trick question, 'cause the answer is "They didn't, the dogs ate them." Ummmm ???? Anyway. This has been a very big week for me. Annnnnd I keep being all obsessed with Spring Awakening and now stupid freakin' CSP teacher says we're not gonna get to go until like December, and I'm like WHAAAAA, THAT IS SO FAR AWAY!! So... I'm a little infuriated. 'Cause I totally would just go withOUT my stupid CSP class if I had some way to get there... Hmphhh. 09:35 pm - Aaaah! I don't know why this is happening. I don't think I clicked on the update... I just wanted to go to my journal. but I haven't said anything in a while, so eh. The show's over. It went really well. All my teachers love me except Dr. T who I hate. But whatev. I like watching movies and I dig Scottish accents.... That's nothing new. I like taking naps. That's nothing new either. This not-very-busy period is going to end any day now. I'm trying to take advantage of it, with the extra sleeping. Heh... We should all have t-shirts that say, "Tee hee!" 10:23 pm - Dude.... I'm sooo exhausted. This week was too long (and it's still not over?!????!!) and had too many 12+ hour school days in it. Waaah. My heeeeaaaaddddd. Boo. I suck at APUSH.
